Dying my hair?

Where r the best places and best products to use? I have dark borwn hair and I want it black. When my hair is wet its balck and I hink it looks real pretty that way. But I know that there r some places and products not to go to or use. Do u have any advise on how to properly care for dyed hair? I would gladley appriecite it , thanx.^_^

If you feel black hair looks good on you, go for it. But keep in mind:

a)Wet hair looks sleek/shiny and smooth, but black hair that's frizzy , dried out and damaged matched with pale skin looks a bit sickly.

b) USE A SEMI. Going back from permanent black can be a very traumatic experience! Then if you love it, you can go permanently.

c) Get a shampoo and conditioner specifially for your hair colour and a deep conditioning treatment, you'll also have to minimise the time with your hair in straighteners/curlers etc.

To my knowledge you can not tell skin color. My scan was black and white but I have also seen ones that have a tan-ish color.

My aunt is white and my uncle is dark skinned, when there baby was born she was really light skinned. But then a couple of days later she got darker, and was a pretty caramel brown color. Anyways I doubt that they can show the color of the baby through the 3d ultrasound. I think its a one color screen. I'm only thinking this since i was trying to look it up online, all the pictures were the same color or in black in white. Only difference is, you can see better facial details. Good Luck!!

No, you do not see that much detail. Since your baby goes through so many changes the first months after birth anyway, it would be pretty pointless anyway. However, it would be really cool if you could see EXACTLY what the baby looked like at that stage of life. I wouldn't care if it was clear with little red veins....it'd still be pretty cool to see!!

No you wont be able to tell the color because even black babies are born white. They get color after they are born. Ive seen my dads fiance get to 3D scans done and its like a yellowish tanish color and its the same in every scan. This link you can see what it looks like.

You can't tell on any ultrasound. Even if the equipment could pick up the exact color of the baby inside the womb, the skin color changes over the first few weeks and months of the baby's life outside the womb. I understand you wanting to know. I've desperately wanting just one of my children to have my hubby's olive complexion and brown eyes but they all have been shades of pale like me with blue eyes. You just never know what you'll get but you'll love them anyway. =)

I understand about you wanting to know about your babys features, who doesn't!!! But in the 3d you won't be able to see any skin color. My baby came out a little darker than she is now, they always tell you that the babies color changes when she grows! You actually can't see any color either for the hair and the eyes color. On a 3D/4D Ultrasound a lot of places give you a choice of tint on the screen. That's why some that you see are yellow, green and some have a sepia (brownish) shade. So you won't be able to tell the babies color until you start to push.

You have to plait your hair, kinda like the look David Beckham used to have, and just let the hair grow. Everytime the hair grows to long undue it and plait it over again with thicker braids. Eventually, it will start to lock.

If this is all you really have to worry about? Then you don't have any problems.

You do need to respect both your parents, even if they don't seem to respect each other. If one of your parents tells you to do something, then you should probably do it.

But when it comes to dying your hair? You need to tell both of your parents that you are who you are, and they should be glad that all you are doing is dying your hair. Unless you are doing a lot more and then, well...then, you all have some serious problems ahead of you.

If your Dad is a good Dad in all the other areas, like being involved, financially responsible for your support, and looking out for your best interests, in general, then I would say respect him. If you live with your Mom, and she is trying to act like the "good guy" by allowing it, then she is trying to undermine his authority as your parent too. Your Mom and Dad should make these decisions together and not put you in the position of having to choose what's best for you, that is their job!

Don't worry about it sunshine. i grew up in plainfield nj, and was one of the few white kids in my high school. at the time i was hard core into punk rawk and came to school in my normal plaid blue and yellow split pants, bi-hawk, and ripped misfits shirt. i regularly had to fight my way into being respected and left alone. when i got kicked out of school i was sent to an "alternative" school and had the exact same problem. i was a screwed up sociopath heroin addict and was getting into brutal fights every day. luckily after that summer when i came back to the alternative school i met a girl named cait that blew me away. at the time she was very sceneter into grindcore and screamo but dressed normal. she saw through all my bull **** and helped save my life. we've been together for 2 years now and i love her just as much as i did when i met her. we now have an apartment together and my life is back on track. what im trying to say is if your afraid someone won't like you because you dress or look funny, **** 'em, your too good for some one that shallow anyway. good luck on the hunt.

i think you and i would get along great! lol, people are often afraid of what they dont know. a lot of people dont know the bands you listen too and those bands have some pretty crazy, sometimes violent looking shirts, so people see the shirt then just sort of think thats what kind of person you are. like, my fiance has a shirt (i forget which band its for) but its got a decapitated woman on it and a bunch of blood, so people see him in it and get a little weirded out, but anyone who knows him knows thats just the music he listens to, not who he is.

I have hyperhidrosis that can't be cured so I always sweat a ton all over, especially in my armpits and groin and chest area as well as palms and feet (smelly socks).

Even worse, I have a ton of body hair.

I have tried all kinds of things for the sweating, and hours of electrolysis for the body hair. Laser hair removal is expensive and doesn't work for most people unless you hae light skin and black hair. I even have hair on the sides of my stomach, in my nose, ears etc...

Nothing has worked and I am very unfonfident of approaching women because of these sweaty hairy problems.

I am 6 feet 175 pounds and not out of shape.

But I look like a smelly wet ape.

Will women care about this if I fake confidence?

Just try to not be too worried about it, you'll do OK. I can just imagine how you may feel towards approaching women, but don't let that stand in your way. The right person(s) will notice the good points about you and will be more understanding once you explain your problem.

At least, though I wish it didn't have to be that way, you are aware of your problem and do your best to not smell or look bad .... a sad thing though is that many men look, smell and act bad, but they DON"T want to do anything about it.

I knew a guy once with your condition....he has been happily married now for several years now and is well liked by others in his community. So, you are not alone in this, and people do understand.

I agree that many women judge men by their physical looks rather than their personality or on their character. It's a shame because many women miss out on some great guys just because they are a couple inches short of some fake "ideal," while many great guys go without a girl because they can't measure up to something that means nothing. Most women don't really seem to discriminate against short men. If the man has any kind of a personality and is a decent sort of guy then women like them. I think I need counselling. From 3 yrs old I remember my mother couldn't stop hitting me as she pushed my face into the floor. I think I spilt my drink.She told me constantly I was stupid. I left my coat at school when I was 5 yrs old and it was belting with rain at about 7.30pm at night pitch black . She sent me out on my bike and screamed don閳ユ獩 come back until you have it! Lucky there were cleaners there with a door still opened. She used to lose control for no apparent reason and hit me, told me she should have had an abortion and she hated me. Picked on me so much growing up, I'm fat you're hair style looks disgusting, you're ugly. She brought a t'shirt once that I liked too and brought one. She said to my dad 'why did she have to get one too??!!' and threw hers in the bin. I'm a lot older now and have a child of my own and do everything opposite to my mum to nurture and care for him. It occasionally comes back to haunt me and I get very angry and bitter

Nicky I am so sorry to hear that! Nicky I can honestly say that I know and fully understand where you are coming from because I to was a victim to child abuse when I was just a little kid. My childhood was more devastating to me because my birthfather was an alcoholic and would always beat my siblings and I until we were bleeding. Also, the abuse lead to drastic measures which caused me to lose my whole family including my siblings. Nicky, I fully understand where you are coming from because I live with that pain everyday. I don't know what exactly would make a mother/father abuse their child, but what I do know is that time heals all wounds. Nicky, all you can do is put the past behind you and don't make the same mistakes your mom made with you to any of your children. You must break the cycle of abuse alltogether and replace it with love and understanding. I also am a mother now and love my son so much. I would be in jail if anyone ever struck my child like that. The excuse is :"I want my man to be a good 'protector'"

Does that mean that if the short man is a black belt in Karate, or carry a concealed gun or mace, then she would be equally as likely to marry him, as a taller man? Of course not. Police say the most important aspect in self defence is witts/awareness of situation, not size.

My dear, I am 5'7", most of the men I have dated have been my height or an inch shorter than me. I love men no matter who they are or what they look like. Some women choose men that are tall because they want their children to be tall (this is an animalistic thing, read Darwin), but then some women do not choose men based on height, but on brains. My step-father is shorter than my mother and he is smart when it comes to finances. Their son, my half-brother, is tall, handsome, and he goes to UCI. I have nothing against short men, but I think that you are taking this issue a little too far. Women are not like Nazi's at all and to compare us to them is outrageous.

OK, for starters, you are not SERIOUSLY comparing women who rejects guys because of their size to a totalitarian state that murdered thousands of people because they were deemed "impure" are you?

Some women (not all, but some) don't like short guys. Personally, I think it's kind of silly, but who really knows why we find some things attractive and others not. I'm of the opinion that nearly everyone thinks nearly everyone ELSE discriminates. The stature of a man has nothing, whatsoever, to do with his manliness or his ability to protect his family. I come from the opposite end of the spectrum as I am a woman that has been just slightly over 6' tall since I was 13 years old. If I had a dollar for every man that snubbed me or for every person who accused me of not being heterosexual **based on my height** then I wouldn't have any financial worries. And, if i had $5 for every smart@ss remark I learned to come back with ... well, i was a lot younger then. ;-)

My daughter is my height. When it came time for her to date she, as an adolescent, was very self-conscious about her height and worried about what she'd "look like" if she were going out with a man 2 or 3 or 5 inches shorter than she. My advice to her was "Never discount a young man due to his height. In fact, unless he is of bad reputation or hangs out with the wrong crowd, the 5'6" man who is secure enough in his own masculinity and sense of self to ask out a tall, beautiful young lady is far more of a man already than the 6'2" football player who will only date the 5'1" cheerleader will ever be. Don't stereotype people, ever."

And, yes, not only women, but almost everyone cares only about the difference of right or wrong when THEY are (or perceive themselves to be) the ones that are suffering.

The one thing we call have in common in abundance, in my humble opinion, is the ability to convince ourselves that WE are the victims. Most of the time, though, we are only the victim of ourselves.

I keep waiting for some great light bulb to come on over the U.S. where we see one another as Americans ... same color blood, same organs, etc. A time when we don't see color or height or weight or media-induced ideals of perfection. I have a trip planned with someone special to me in 20 days. To prepare myself to look my best, I've worked out, changed my diet, done facial peels, had a treatment done on my hair, had it colored and trimmed. The works.

I've always shaved...all over my body from nearly head to toe, and because this trip is 5 days in close quarters to someone I care about, I don't want to have to worry about something like that. What form of hair removal would be best for me? I know that due short time, I can only have one laser hair removal treatment that would help with the bumps on the back of my thighs and bottom. On the other hand I could just wax everything and still be able to tan (which I can't do with the laser stuff). But when I waxed before, I still had to shave almost the next day.
