3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

My husband is a dark-skinned Dominican and I am white. We are anxious to see the baby's color. Just as we are the hair color and eyes color. Do you get to see this level of detail?

And please no nasty messages -- we dont CARE about the color, we are just curious as everyone else is about their child's features. We will love her/him regardless if she is as white as a ghost or black as night.

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

NO.

The child will darken any ways after it is born...

give it two years or so.

That is my experience with a mix like that.

Your child will be beautiful, for sure!

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

Most babies don't get pigment until after they are born. Every newborn I've seen comes out the same color.

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

Every 3D scan I have ever seen have been a yellowish brown tint; you can't tell the skin color.

Just look at is as being a big surprise! No matter what happens, you will have a beautiful baby!

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

From what i know, babies that are born dark pink are fair skinned as they grow, and babies with white skin, darken as they grow older.

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

To my knowledge you can not tell skin color. My scan was black and white but I have also seen ones that have a tan-ish color.

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

My aunt is white and my uncle is dark skinned, when there baby was born she was really light skinned. But then a couple of days later she got darker, and was a pretty caramel brown color. Anyways I doubt that they can show the color of the baby through the 3d ultrasound. I think its a one color screen. I'm only thinking this since i was trying to look it up online, all the pictures were the same color or in black in white. Only difference is, you can see better facial details. Good Luck!!

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

No, you do not see that much detail. Since your baby goes through so many changes the first months after birth anyway, it would be pretty pointless anyway. However, it would be really cool if you could see EXACTLY what the baby looked like at that stage of life. I wouldn't care if it was clear with little red veins....it'd still be pretty cool to see!!

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

i dont think so

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

No you wont be able to tell the color because even black babies are born white. They get color after they are born. Ive seen my dads fiance get to 3D scans done and its like a yellowish tanish color and its the same in every scan. This link you can see what it looks like.

Im getting the scan done on the 16th and im very excited about seeing her little face :]

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

No because our son is part black and white and he is 6 yrs old and he is just starting to turn darker, so wouldnt waste my money for this if i were u as they will change color regardless on what u see...

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

You can't tell on any ultrasound. Even if the equipment could pick up the exact color of the baby inside the womb, the skin color changes over the first few weeks and months of the baby's life outside the womb. I understand you wanting to know. I've desperately wanting just one of my children to have my hubby's olive complexion and brown eyes but they all have been shades of pale like me with blue eyes. You just never know what you'll get but you'll love them anyway. =)

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

Nope. Sorry. But the baby will be born lighter skinner, then might darken as it grows.... by 2-3 you will finally know their skin color..

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

I understand about you wanting to know about your babys features, who doesn't!!! But in the 3d you won't be able to see any skin color. My baby came out a little darker than she is now, they always tell you that the babies color changes when she grows! You actually can't see any color either for the hair and the eyes color. Even if you could see the eye color, her or his eye color is going to change in a few weeks after birth! So good luck!!

3d Scan -- Can you tell the color of the child?

On a 3D/4D Ultrasound a lot of places give you a choice of tint on the screen. That's why some that you see are yellow, green and some have a sepia (brownish) shade. So you won't be able to tell the babies color until you start to push.
