Psychological and child abuse?

I think I need counselling. From 3 yrs old I remember my mother couldn't stop hitting me as she pushed my face into the floor. I think I spilt my drink. She told me constantly I was stupid. I left my coat at school when I was 5 yrs old and it was belting with rain at about 7.30pm at night pitch black . She sent me out on my bike and screamed don閳ユ獩 come back until you have it! Lucky there were cleaners there with a door still opened. She used to lose control for no apparent reason and hit me, told me she should have had an abortion and she hated me. Picked on me so much growing up, I'm fat you're hair style looks disgusting, you're ugly. She brought a t'shirt once that I liked too and brought one. She said to my dad 'why did she have to get one too??!!' and threw hers in the bin. I'm a lot older now and have a child of my own and do everything opposite to my mum to nurture and care for him. It occasionally comes back to haunt me and I get very angry and bitter

Psychological and child abuse?

I am sorry to hear all these stories abt child abuse. Nicky, if you think you need someone to talk to, speak to a professional. They will be able to help you sort things out with yourself. The impt thing to do is to make peace with yourself...Understand that you are different from your mum, and that no matter what, you will be stronger than her too. Whatever reasons she had that cause her to abuse you like that will not be happening to you again...so let go, and trust in the Lord that He will bring you peace and happiness. God Bless

Psychological and child abuse?

Sweetie, this is child abuse....coming back to haunt u can be positive in some ways, because u remember how it made u feel %26amp; u wouldnt want to do it to ur child....my suggestion...talk to someone...it never hurts to have professional help..I had a very loving childhood...my Mom was a single Mom of 2 %26amp; she worked her fingers to the bone to make sure my younger sister %26amp; I had everything we need..we didnt have everything we wanted, but we were still happy...that being said...Even sometimes I need someone to talk to about things, yes, I do go to a physcologist every so often....Love your kids to the best of your ability %26amp; then some...I am a single Mother of 2 myself %26amp; I give ALL my love to my kids....I know it is very stressful sometimes %26amp; things the kids do can get on ur nerves, but remember it is up to u to teach them right from wrong %26amp; nurture them..

I wish U all the best %26amp; I happy to see that so far u have prevailed ur horrible childhood...Good luck in the future

Psychological and child abuse?

i guess you just gotta let go n let god work in your life! just dont make the same mistakes like you said find someone to get this stuff off you chest too friend counselor or if you wanna talk im carlvinsion@yahoo.com ill be your friend to talk to if you dont have one our money to see a counselor.

Psychological and child abuse?

Nicky I am so sorry to hear that! Nicky I can honestly say that I know and fully understand where you are coming from because I to was a victim to child abuse when I was just a little kid. My childhood was more devastating to me because my birthfather was an alcoholic and would always beat my siblings and I until we were bleeding. Also, the abuse lead to drastic measures which caused me to lose my whole family including my siblings. Nicky, I fully understand where you are coming from because I live with that pain everyday. I don't know what exactly would make a mother/father abuse their child, but what I do know is that time heals all wounds. Nicky, all you can do is put the past behind you and don't make the same mistakes your mom made with you to any of your children. You must break the cycle of abuse alltogether and replace it with love and understanding. I also am a mother now and love my son so much. I would be in jail if anyone ever struck my child like that. Good Luck!!!

10. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS : Others see you as someone they should "handle with care." You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS : Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful %26amp; practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS : People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions %26amp; who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

GENERALLY women are guilty of the same evil they complain about: Discrimination based on looks/appearance/asthetics.

Women don't approve of short men as dates, boy friends, nor husbands, even if the short man is sweet, loving, funny, smart sensitive, ect.

The excuse is :"I want my man to be a good 'protector'"

Does that mean that if the short man is a black belt in Karate, or carry a concealed gun or mace, then she would be equally as likely to marry him, as a taller man? Of course not. Police say the most important aspect in self defence is witts/awareness of situation, not size.

Women's general Disaprovement/Discrimination of short men is based on asthetics/looks.

The NAZI's discriminated against non-blond hair, blue eyes...AND TALL HEIGHT, "beautiful" to them.

Do women like it when men turn them down even though they may be sweet/nice, BUT not pretty, slim...or tall enough?

Do women care about the difference of right and wrong only when THEY are the ones suffering?

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

I am in love with a man who is 5' 7" and skinny as a rail, and nothing even close to what I would have guessed myself dating.

But he is truly the love of my life :) He is the sweetest, sexy man I have ever known.

What started out as a friendship with one another. Has grown into a wonderful meaningful relationship. I cherish and thank god for each and every day :)

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

No

And discrimination happens all the time. I have observed that some really short or tiny women want big guys.

Actually short women have it eaiser than tall women because there are more guys to pick from if thats what they want.

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

Speaking for men everywhere...

thank you!

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

Damn the Nazis!

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

you are right, but I believe that when it comes down to it, you really cannot help who you fall in love with...no matter what they may look like.

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

My dear, I am 5'7", most of the men I have dated have been my height or an inch shorter than me. I love men no matter who they are or what they look like. Some women choose men that are tall because they want their children to be tall (this is an animalistic thing, read Darwin), but then some women do not choose men based on height, but on brains. My step-father is shorter than my mother and he is smart when it comes to finances. Their son, my half-brother, is tall, handsome, and he goes to UCI. I have nothing against short men, but I think that you are taking this issue a little too far. Women are not like Nazi's at all and to compare us to them is outrageous.

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

OK, for starters, you are not SERIOUSLY comparing women who rejects guys because of their size to a totalitarian state that murdered thousands of people because they were deemed "impure" are you?

Some women (not all, but some) don't like short guys. Personally, I think it's kind of silly, but who really knows why we find some things attractive and others not. I don't think it's discrimination, though. And I think that there is enough real discrimination in the world without people making any more up.

Here's why I'm so proud to be a woman, btw is DISCRIMINATION wrong?????

Wonderfully stated!! Applause and a virtual standing ovation for you, Ma'am! =)

I'm of the opinion that nearly everyone thinks nearly everyone ELSE discriminates. The stature of a man has nothing, whatsoever, to do with his manliness or his ability to protect his family. I come from the opposite end of the spectrum as I am a woman that has been just slightly over 6' tall since I was 13 years old. If I had a dollar for every man that snubbed me or for every person who accused me of not being heterosexual **based on my height** then I wouldn't have any financial worries. And, if i had $5 for every smart@ss remark I learned to come back with ... well, i was a lot younger then. ;-)

My daughter is my height. When it came time for her to date she, as an adolescent, was very self-conscious about her height and worried about what she'd "look like" if she were going out with a man 2 or 3 or 5 inches shorter than she. My advice to her was "Never discount a young man due to his height. In fact, unless he is of bad reputation or hangs out with the wrong crowd, the 5'6" man who is secure enough in his own masculinity and sense of self to ask out a tall, beautiful young lady is far more of a man already than the 6'2" football player who will only date the 5'1" cheerleader will ever be. Don't stereotype people, ever."

My daughter (her father and i are long divorced) said "What if a black boy or a hispanic boy or an asian boy asks me out? Dad said he'd kill me if i dated anyone but a white boy?" I told her "Nothing matters but WHO that young man IS. Does he come from good family? Does he have plans for his future that include higher education or a specific career or is he walking around, cursing like he's never seen a dictionary, being disrespectful, and wearing his pants around his knees? Do not judge, baby, do not judge. If you're sure a young man is of good family, is well groomed, and you believe you have things in common and he asks you out, then the courteous thing to do is accept because, believe it or not, it's very hard for young men to ask a young lady on a date. I'll take care of your father."

And, yes, not only women, but almost everyone cares only about the difference of right or wrong when THEY are (or perceive themselves to be) the ones that are suffering.

The one thing we call have in common in abundance, in my humble opinion, is the ability to convince ourselves that WE are the victims. Most of the time, though, we are only the victim of ourselves.

I keep waiting for some great light bulb to come on over the U.S. where we see one another as Americans ... same color blood, same organs, etc. A time when we don't see color or height or weight or media-induced ideals of perfection. A time when "discrimination" and "reverse discrimination" leaves our vocabularies. A time when there is NOTHING, whatsoever, on a loan application that asks a person to categorize themselves.

Sadly, I think I have a better chance of waking up short tomorrow!

Thank you, again, though, for pointing out something that needed to be said and that most women need to hear. That's one of the best things I've read on here in a while.

By the way, I was born in Germany and that history is still all too fresh for certain members of my family. But, have you ever noticed that Hitler's ideal of the perfect race was the exact opposite of what he looked like? Obviously, he was nuttier than a fruitcake, but I wonder what all happened to him in his life to make him loathe himself as he did. He was the shining example of what he considered UNperfect. How weird!

What's the best way for me to remove body hair?

I have a trip planned with someone special to me in 20 days. To prepare myself to look my best, I've worked out, changed my diet, done facial peels, had a treatment done on my hair, had it colored and trimmed. The works.

Now to tackle something about me I simply abhore. Body hair. Thanks to genetics I'm light skinned with black hair that I've always been really self-conscious of. I've always shaved...all over my body from nearly head to toe, and because this trip is 5 days in close quarters to someone I care about, I don't want to have to worry about something like that. So here's my question.

What form of hair removal would be best for me? I know that due short time, I can only have one laser hair removal treatment that would help with the bumps on the back of my thighs and bottom. On the other hand I could just wax everything and still be able to tan (which I can't do with the laser stuff). But when I waxed before, I still had to shave almost the next day.

Help!

What's the best way for me to remove body hair?

I would have a bikini wax done, and possibly an upper lip wax (if this is a problem area for you), and eyebrow wax. The latter two can do WONDERS for your face, and you shouldn't shave your pubic area anyway, so waxing is the best choice. Perhaps you can use some kind of depilatory cream (a.k.a Nair or Veet) on your legs, or even go to a nice place where you can get the whole body waxed. Just be prepared for the pain! Take painkillers beforehand, definitely...Hope I've helped...

What's the best way for me to remove body hair?

Lazar hair removel morks too, it's pricey but it last for about 5 months. so you and your smpecial someone can get clsoe and intimate anytime anywhere. for those 5 months. Report It

What's the best way for me to remove body hair?

for one, you are way too paranoid about yourself. just shave the day before or wax. whatever. take it easy. you are going to be on vacation, so be yourself.

What's the best way for me to remove body hair?

i know how you feel i too have the light skin with black hair it bugs. i suggest to get a bikini wax cuz it covers all areas seen while in a swim suit plus waxing makes your hair grow thiner and in time less noticable while shaveing makes it grow in thicker and darker.

Whtie girls?

I go to a racial diverse college. I am black I just started school a week ago. Their is this girl ( she is white). She is in my math class. She is always staring at me, and after class she comes up to me and starts talking about how much she hates the class. It was very strange, someone like her just coming up and talking to me. Its a huge campus, but she always seems to be near. She is kinda sexy, kinda off in a seductive way. but i don't feel comfortable with interacial relationships, especailly because she has blonde hair and blue eyes. It would upset my female relatives. I am having conflicting feelings about her, I like her and she seems to care about me. But on the other hand, you know.

Whtie girls?

It doesn't matter what your relatives say about this. The important thing is what do you feel and thing about this. Turning the table round here. We could say you're been racist against white people.

Whtie girls?

Race shouldn't matter. thats what is the problems in todays society. If you care about someone who cares what colour they are. I am white and date black men, it doesnt sit well with some of my family either, tough, i say if she is a genuine nice person give it a go.

I hav a sparse wardrobe with pretty much only plain, black, comfort clothes with jeans and Hot Topic band t-shirts a size too big. I'm pretty much picking out clothes truly for the first time. I don't care for brand names and I like a bit of all different styles, I just want form-fitting clothes that make me feel more girly. If someone could reccomend some stores (especially those with web-sites included) I would really appreciate it. And I would love advice on hair, make-up, and dresses since i've hardly done anything with them. Oh and shoes! I, um, only hav one pair of slip-on tennis shoes. I desperately need advice.

I can really relate.

Up until this year, my wardrobe has consisted of two pairs of jeans and oversized [mostly black] shirts.

And shoes? Psh, like two pairs of shoes.

I decided I wanted flattering, nice clothes this year.

So I let my friends take me shopping.

Something I really like, and they're really comfy, are PINK! Pants.

And I still stick with T-shirts, I just introduced color and patterns to my closet. Try Target. Or JC Penny. Even Hottopic.

Also some solid mid-length shirts, are cute and casual.

Makeup-

Foundation.

Concealer.

Blush.

Primer.

Eyeliner.

Eyeshadow.

Mascara.

Just not in that order. :D

Try wikihow for advice on those things, because I'm clueless myself!

And hair.

Research the best cut for your face shape.

Find the best color for your skin tone and eyes.

And talk to your hair dresser.

Shoes.

Tennis shoes can still be cute, but avoid the slip on kind. :]

Chuck Taylors, Converses, Rocketdogs, Nike, Vans, ect.

Find some that are comfortable, affordable, and your style!

I like hottopic too! But i like to shop at other stores too. For you, I suggest Wet Seal, Betsey Johnson, Pac Sun, Guess, Forever 21, etc.

For hair, I would get some highlights [if you dont have them already] but get a color that would look good with your original hair color. maybe blonde or auburn or brown. something like that. it depends. i dont know your hair color so yeah.

and for makeup dont overdo it. a nice foundation with some mascara and a little bit of eyeliner, blush or bronzer along cheekbone, and some eyeshadow is really all you need. dont overdo the eyeshadow though. be careful about that.

for shooes: get some wedges, maybe cute polka dotted ones or something. or you can get flats, high heels [i personally love toe pumps!] something like that.

good luck!
