GENERALLY women are guilty of the same evil they complain about: Discrimination based on looks/appearance/asthetics.

Women don't approve of short men as dates, boy friends, nor husbands, even if the short man is sweet, loving, funny, smart sensitive, ect.

The excuse is :"I want my man to be a good 'protector'"

Does that mean that if the short man is a black belt in Karate, or carry a concealed gun or mace, then she would be equally as likely to marry him, as a taller man? Of course not. Police say the most important aspect in self defence is witts/awareness of situation, not size.

Women's general Disaprovement/Discrimination of short men is based on asthetics/looks.

The NAZI's discriminated against non-blond hair, blue eyes...AND TALL HEIGHT, "beautiful" to them.

Do women like it when men turn them down even though they may be sweet/nice, BUT not pretty, slim...or tall enough?

Do women care about the difference of right and wrong only when THEY are the ones suffering?

Everyone likes different things. Some women actually do prefer short men, the evidence? There are still short people in this world! Obviously, SOMEONE must be handing out the short gene! Don't be so worried about the short men, everyone gets theirs in the end.

Really, when choosing someone to mate with, it's not about discrimination. It's all about likes, dislikes and what some consider sexy. I'm a pretty, young Latina and I married a man ten years older than I was and whom others would consider a bit unattractive. But to me, he stimulated my intellect, he was caring, loving and I think he's HOT!

No,I'm an equal opportunity destroyer...ALL men are idiots,lol. But I find the short men have the "Napoleon" complex,and huge bad attitudes to make up for their height,and "other" shortcomings.

I agree that many women judge men by their physical looks rather than their personality or on their character. It's a shame because many women miss out on some great guys just because they are a couple inches short of some fake "ideal," while many great guys go without a girl because they can't measure up to something that means nothing. I think women should choose boyfriends and husbands more wisely.

i think it's all biological or instinctual. a woman would prefer a man whose looks convey a superior genetic make up. so if that's subtle discrimination, so be it.

Most women don't really seem to discriminate against short men. If the man has any kind of a personality and is a decent sort of guy then women like them. I'm sure women don't like it when men turn them down, but why in the world would a woman ask a man. What happened to waiting to be asked. If a man wants to go out with a woman he will ask. Most people care about right and wrong. It's just at the time that they are suffering it's hard to see other people suffering.

About the whole "I want protection" thing, I think women who are with tall man feel more safe because a women who is with a man who looks more intimidating is less likely to get messed with..If that makes since..Even though a short man who owns a gun/knows karate may actually be able to protect her better...But either way I don't get the whole I want a protector thing....I wouldn't go comparing them to Nazis... that's just ridiculous..everyone judges people by looks at first.. no matter how much people want to deny it...It is very easy to fall in love with a person for their personality no matter what they look like...but the first thing people notice about people/things is appearance...I also don't think "discriminate" is the right word...People have different taste when it comes to relationships...It isn't discrimination...If I like apples more then I like oranges, Or the color pink more then the color blue, Would that be discrimination???.....Nope.
