I'm sorry you live in an area where this is true. Each place you live has different 'tensions'. Each person has challenges in life. Surpassing them is what makes you strong and perfect. Stop looking at what others have and celebrate what you have. Make your goals. Achieve them. Perhaps what that 'white girl' has that you think is so perfect is your worst nightmare.

Women of all ethnicities are concerned with "their looks" and "their hair color." Women of all ethnicities have to struggle for what they want.. We have different skin colors, but we all pretty much face some of the same things in life.

You represent yourself. How do you present yourself to others? In a positive upbeat way, or as if the world owes you a life. The world owes nothing to you. You have to go out and get it. It will not start until you make something happen. I'm sorry you had it rough and so did I. I refused to live the rest of my days with nothing and I'm living a life I couldn't have dreamt any better.

It sounds to me like you are "stuck" in your "culture".
I am white but I did not come from a rich family but my dad worked hard to get us where we are today and I in return have a good work ethic where I work hard to give my family what they need and want. Does your family have a work ethic or do they depend on the governement? When you do get money do you blow it on music %26amp; clothes or do you save for the important things?
Do people really descriminate against you or do you present yourself as immature and act like the world owes you?
Let me give you a tip. Start acting and living like you want to be treated and people will do that. If you want to be respected you have to be respectful, if you want to not be discriminated against, you have got to stop running your mouth about white people, if you want to be rich, you have to work for it.

I'm about as white as you get and I don't have all that stuff. Yes, I got something of an education but never had the $ to get as good a one as I would have liked. Yes, I am a little vain, but that goes with being a femme I think. I know black girls that are more vain then I am. More power to them! They are beautiful!

maybe u need to take a look at yourself because I go to college, have a boyfriend, and have money to take care of me and my child and do some shopping. Almost anyone can go to college. Maybe your so busy being lazy and negative that it's the reason you don't have a boyfriend. I'm not saying that we don't get discriminated upon but dont give them any more reason to do it by falling into the stereotype
